The private museum exhibits military history, starting with the times of Friedrich Wilhelm "Kurfürst von Brandenburg" (1640) and leading to the times of the last German emperor "Wilhelm II." (1918). At the museum, you will find interesting facts and figures on military traditions. And if you are interested in ceremonials - the section on military ceremonials of the 17th century will provide you with unique details.
Other interesting things you find at the museum include a tin soldier army which resembles the Prussian liberation forces in the times of the Napoleonic wars or a display of different symbols of bravery.
The Battle at Großbeeren on 23nd of August, 1813 which ended with a victory of the Prussian troops, has its own section in the museum. It is definitely worth a visit!
We organize:
- Events at the museum, including catering
- Book presentations, theme events, video- and slide shows
- Lectures on specific topics of military history.
- Please ask at our front desk for further information.
